Prendy_1984
Only trouble I saw was Latics fans scrapping amongst each other during the game! Where was that? There was a bit of trouble between Latics fans and police. Didn't see anything involving Dale.

Gaz_Oafc
What about the taxi queue outside the regal moon at about 2.30?
Roger Ritchie
The Rochdale bad mans (who ran over to the latics lot when they scored and spent most of the game stood in the entrance to the pie stand behind their goal) were seen on their toes after the game. Rocky_Latic
Where was that? There was a bit of trouble between Latics fans and police. Didn't see anything involving Dale. There was never going to be any trouble with 'dale fans yesterday. Certainly not like that tuesday night game as all the dale lot were in the regal at 9am on their way to Preston for the EDL march. The only trouble was with the police who were being very heavy handed. The 4 riot vans, 3 cops cars and TAU vans summed it up outside the regal after the game. When they shut the bar, I spoke with a female copper who was from Accrington so god knows where half of them had been drafted in.
Prendy_1984
That was a pointless exercise. Why throw everyone out of the pub? Complete bollocks
Rocky_Latic
That was a pointless exercise. Why throw everyone out of the pub? Complete bollocks The only reason I can think of is the fact it's a saturday night and the Regal is the first port of call for pretty much everyone on a night out in 'dale. Prendy_1984
I'm sure they had reasons but from a trouble point of view I would have thought it was better to have everyone contained in one place, they was no trouble in there and everyone seemed happy enough! ah_oafc
After the game, i was walking back to the car and seen quite a number of coppers legging it up a street as if something happened. Apart from that i hardly saw any trouble really.

lancy lad
Sorry mate, only just seen your post. We were to the left hand side of the stand (stood up all game) and a few Latics started a row with a few other Latics and 1 or 2 were trying to give each other a slap in a pissed up way. Handbags really. oafc-lover sorted it out!
Prendy_1984
Was that near the front, saw summot but thought it was someone fighting with police or a steward
Oldham_Gaz
One of the coppers on the horses told me they were all from Liverpool. I went to the regal moon after the game and the atmosphere was almost as good as being at the game lol. Stupid to throw us out. I asked one of the coppers where I could take a slash n he told me to use the alley next to the pub
lancy lad
Was that near the front, saw summot but thought it was someone fighting with police or a steward No it was about halfway up the stand, police and stewards didn't even see it. It got sorted by fans stepping inbetween!

Our performance on the pitch didnt help but even in the first half when we were all over them it was pretty quiet
Oldham_Gaz
Yea it wasnt as good as the first time round but I cant remember the last time I heared two separate songs being sang at the same time at a latics game lol

HarryBosch
no trouble that I saw despite the best efforts of that unsavoury element football could do without - the Police

Said myself the atmosphere was :censored:e, too many day-trippers (that won't be anywhere near BP come the Swindon game) too many so pissed they were hardly compus mentus and too many stood at the front trying to look hard. It was similarly bad at Accrington, oh and the fookwits singing "ooh Roger Palmer" to Tonk, proves you aint been for a while dunnit? We had better support at Dagenham and Brentford, fans sang all game and made nearly as much noise - it really is the quality of the support not the quantity. Looking forward to another good day at The Mongs...
