Diego_Sideburns
When Failsworth is built and running England's bid will be twice as strong. In one of Manc's unsuccessful bids for the Olympic Games, BP was to be used as the hockey venue. It was going to involve re-installing the plastic pitch and then Latics playing in the Olympic stadium until the pitch had been returned to grass and become established again. IIRC there was less of a fuss about that proposal than there's been about Failsworth. Edited December 3, 2010 by Diego_Sideburns
