Senor_Coconut
Covers? where are they and why not on the pitch? Covers are only a short term measure, if they had been on for the past 2 weeks with the snow on top the grass would have died
lancy lad
Supposed to be 6 degrees on Sat with heavy rain. I reckon it will be on - unless waterlogged.
daznathe
cant see how it can be on, its been frozen for two weeks. two days of + temperatures cant sort that, especially if its freezing at night.

LaticsPete
Just seen the photos on OS and changed my mind. I reckon it will be off. Pics taken yesterday? Higher temps? Let's not go around telling people it's going to be off - they'll start making other plans.
Tommy_Fent
what has to be bared in mind is the distance the Swindon fans will have to travel

If you have LP, watch the video, it was recorded late morning today. Two thirds of the pitch still to clear only five or six of them working on it. Car-park to clear too and three inches of penetrating frost. It's not looking good and the fact we're having a 12.30 inspection tomorrow suggests the club are not holding out much hope either... oldhamains
Hope they take the 27 hours in to account and the 5°C plus temp during those 27 hours! Probably not. Ice is melting round here.

The big worry with that is if they set off and stayover................. I may be wrong but thought we have to pay some of their costs and that is why I reckon we have arranged it tomorrow. I am assuming that is why we are having it confirmed either way tomorrow before they leave. Doesn't look good.
BlueTed
Raining in Sholver and the snow is melting pretty quick.
