oafcprozac
Below us: Col U Nil nicked a point to go above us Mongs got dicked at Notts County and have lost Alby for next Saturday Carlisle surprisingly lost at home to Daggers Southampton lost at home to Brentford Peterborough beat Dale last night Above us Brighton lost Sheff Wed hammered Brizzle Charlton play tomorrow Hudds left it late but beat Brighton Bournemouth lost at home to the Monkey Hangers Looking good for a prolonged challenge at the top, providing we don't make any more knee-jerk decisions about postponing matches. So why was it called off? Hieracy fancied a day Christmas shopping perhaps? It would have been a :censored: crowd anyway.... Much better crowd on the 8th January.... opinions4u
The most disappointing thing about today's results is the realisation that if we'd won at Rochdale they'd be in the bottom four. The "Hilly Miracle" is perhaps beginning to unwind.

If Wellens hadn't got a 3 match ban for an injury time act of violence. ... If Sheeridan hadn't fecked about with loans when he had a winning side. ... If Mark Hughes ... singe
If only we had beaten Man City on Mon 5th April 1915, or conceded a second goal v the Inbreds on Tue 20th Apr 1915... If only Britain had not gone into the First World War.....
RobOAFC
If only the pitch was playable today.. oh wait apparently it was.. (even if it wasnt playable but a few on here has said it was playable, its ridiculous that a training pitch is suitable to play on, but last seasons 3rd best pitch in league one isnt fit to play on..) khlatics4ever
Yesterday morning I went down to Boundary Park to help the groundstaff to get the match on today. when I arrived all the snow had been removed from the pitch and we spent all morning clearing snow and ice from the outer running track. The pitch itself carried a lot of surface water which was not draining away due to frost which had penatrated the ground. When the referee arrived at lunch time he inspected the pitch with Alan Hardy, the groundsman carrying a pitch fork and other club officials. From what I could see when they tried to push the fork into the turf, in certain areas it wasn't possible, the groundsman then obtained a thermometer to record the pitch temperature and he later stated this to be 1 1/2` I took this to be minus. The party left the pitch and it was reported that the referee was to consult the Football League with his findings. Yesterday the pitch was definately unplayable, with a crystal ball today yes but in my eyes the blame lies purely with the Football League. youngen
Good job our game wasnt on, as I saw Chris Taylor (love of my life) in the seating section of the Courteeners with a near empty bottle of Wine, and by the way he was (shockingly) dancing I am presuming he had a little more than just that! Great band The Courteeners - although lead singer is a red, I believe that one of the band is a 'tic. 'You Overdid it Doll' and 'Cameo Broach' my two favourite tracks at the moment.
