Havent been before so for anyone who is doing or has been before via train, what is the easiest/quickest route from the station to the ground on foot? Takemeanywhere
Taken from Diego's thread: By train: Brunton Park is situated about a mile from Carlisle Citadel station, but is relatively easy to get to. Upon exiting the station's main entrance, walk straight ahead across the road and the short distance along The Crescent until reaching Warwick Road on the right, next to Bar Suede. You will be able to see the old Main Stand and the strangely-shaped roofs of the Warwick Road end after walking for about twenty minutes. There are directions to the away supporters' turnstiles above the Carlisle United club shop.
Forte_Baby
Not hard to find 10 to 15min walk at the most.
opinions4u
Look in to split ticketing on the train. Sometimes buying to Penrith and then from Penrith to Carlisle can save a few quid.
