Macca
Reuben Reid - Permanent Deal We've paid a fee for a player. What's going on? Great news again, hope he is what we've been looking for upfront.

Macca
says free transfer on the link unless my eyes are going I saw the news on SMS which said undisclosed fee. I think a free transfer is more likely!
astottie
I saw the news on SMS which said undisclosed fee. I think a free transfer is more likely! because you pay for the SMS they give you a sexier news item. Us cheap skates on a public website only get free transfers

PlayItLivo
Great backing from the board and SC. They've had they're detractors and imo most criticisms of Corney and the TTA in general are very harsh and unfounded. But SC and the board have backed their manager well and have shown real ambition to take this club further and aren't looking to cut and run like other's have suggested. Anyway, not to stray off topic, great signing. Again, I wish we had him on a longer deal!
Macca
Because I'm nervous. Very nervous. We've not been paying some of the bills over the last few months and revenue coming into the club isn't increasing much if at all. All these changes recently must be balanced though. Holdsworth and Worthington must have been on a wedge and if they have moved on to other clubs without getting the rest of their contracts paid could make these signings affordable. Forte_Baby
Because I'm nervous. Very nervous. Been one of my major worries i still dont think we will reach the play offs but cleary this has to be seen as some sort of ambitious move. maddog
Hmmmm. There seems to be some confusion. Maybe the phrase should be 'promotion or liquidation'. For clarity's sake.
Zorrro
Doesn't really roll off the tongue though. I have my doubts as to whether it'll become a popular phrase.
