Went down there one season, we'd taken the lead, Allott I think and we'd just been awarded a penalty. The scoreboard flashed up that Man Ure were losing as well and one fan uttered the words "It doesn't get any better than this!"

 

It didn't!

 

We missed the penalty, Rovers ended up scoring 3 with ourselves getting a consolation late on and Man Ure ended up winning too! <img src="http://www.owtb.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ranting.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ranting.gif" />

 

Shez put us 1-0 up with a 45 yard yard free-kick from out on the touch-line that sneaked in the near post, Neil Adams missed the pen before Brizzle stormed into a 3-1 lead. Allott pulled a late goal back and we lost 3-2. The Scum game also finished 3-2 with Carragher scoring 2 own goals for them…

 

I went to Brizzle the year after, the game was nearly called off due to standing water, football was impossible on that pitch but Stitch decided to play long-ball, it worked - we won 2-0 with an early goal from Allott and a late strike from Dux - we were drenched with a fair few watching the second half through the portacabin toilet window….
