Frankly Mr Shankly
I can think of a few memorable ones: Brighton in 2002, Plymouth in 2004. When was the last time we defied the odds to give a bloody nose to the champions elect? And what games to you fondly recollect?
LaticsLee
didnt we batter champions to be luton under talbot only for them to equalise in the last minute at bp ?
Frankly Mr Shankly
didnt we batter champions to be luton under talbot only for them to equalise in the last minute at bp ? Yeah, Steve Howard. Luke Beckett arrived that day and gave us what we'd struggled for all season - natural goalscoring ability. It was a draw though, not a win. We beat 2007-08 champions, Swansea on the opening day of that season.

singe
Not the last time I don;t think, but the 1-0 win at Wigan on 7th Jan 2000 was quite satisfying! You know I forget things that I was going to do this morning, but that day does remain emvbedded in the memory. Forgettable game mate, we had a go but we needed the win. Relegation was confirmed after a 2-0 defeat at Elm Park the week after. Stitch missed a pen at 0-0…. oafcprozac
My most memorable... That'd be the 3-1 away defeat in October 1996, 3-0 down in no time, Bolton have the cigars out and are really taking the piss. Allott comes on for his debut and smashes one in… but Bolton still don't break sweat to win 3-1...

PatchLatics
Sure we beat Hull around 6/7 seasons back when Killen scored off a Kilkenny freekick and we won 1-0?
laticsmad
I have to mention this one. It was the season of 1992/93, the first season of the newly formed premiership, and we played United! United were top of the country and Oldham were 4 points adrift at the foot of the table and struggling. The result was a gritty, determined one nil win over united at Boundary park. Correct me if I'm wrong stattos - but didn't Neil Adams Knock in the winner from a dropped corner possibly from Schmiecal? Anyway, this win was the platform and catalyst for the great escape ))
