LaticsLee
keigan parker joe colbeck micheal ricketts craig davies (just for the headbutt) To be fair Joe colbeck had not talent what so ever but he gave 100% when he played

LaticsPete
I should also have mentioned Bob Ledger. He played in every position for Latics including keeper when he had to take over betwen the sticks in pre-substitute days.
oafc-latics
who was that player who we had on loan a few years ago and got sent off in the last minute of his debut so we sent him back? he's got to be on the list

JoeP
Paul Murray for keeping us up pretty much on his own Gary Kelly did the same in 1998/99.
Tommy_Fent
To be fair Joe colbeck had not talent what so ever but he gave 100% when he played agreed, but like I've said before a lack of skill is easily translated to some as "not trying" to me I don't think any player could compare to Earnie Cooksey, I've never known a player who has covered a lack of skill up so well with such enthusiasm and I don't think we'll see another player like that in our lifetime RIP

He played in every position for Latics including keeper when he had to take over betwen the sticks in pre-substitute days. Bob Ledger, I have never seen anyone before or since who from the full back position could hit a ball so high it came down with snow on it and caused consternation in opposition defences. A simple tactic I'm surprised no team seems to use nowadays, then again I suppose it's not in the coaching manual many clubs seem follow rigidly. BP1960
you not seen ronnie moore football ? Indeed I have, but I think you will agree Bob Ledger was more cultured in his application and was a definite tactic devised by himself.
