willp
Where is the Junction Inn on Ripponden Road? Can't for the life of me think! All I can think of is the Wellington, Black Horse (I think), Highfield, Moorside, then up to the Kings at Grains Bar??!? I'm I just being blonde and totally missing it? Just lower than the Wellington as you pass it on your right as your coming down R.R. its about 300 yrds away right as you hit Hillstores/junction of Huddersfield rd. Right across from Littlemoor flats. Well I think it is...

Macca
Right at the bottom of Ripponden Road, next to the old William Hill Bookies. Agree a great idea with the minibus. I hope that works out well.
mattsgrandad
The latics feature quotes the owner as saying: "...there will be two core elements to the pub - live music and live sport" What about the beer? I would have thought that was the core element to any pub. Unfortunately, many pubs with similar 'core elements' have folded in recent times but good luck to the man - I hope he bucks the trend. BTW - like the min-bus idea - include some nibbles and pre&post game drinks and who knows - it could expand into a full double decker before the end of next season. Takemeanywhere
Thanks for the kind comments. We do know the challenge we have taken on here but I have already seen this last weekend that there is potential. It would be great to see a load of familiar faces in here on Thursday evening, for what promises to be a great night.

Remember all the Police cordening it off around there one night about 2 years ago. Probably a load of Man Ure pikeys, I'd bar them all if I was him. Good luck, hope it all goes well.
