OldhamSheridan
opening game - Always a good time for a relegated team, so Sheffield United away. boxing day - Dale/Bury. new years day - Dale/Bury. Easter Friday - Holiday season, Yeovil away. Easter Monday - Holiday season, Bournemouth home. Last game - Mid-table obscurity team in case we need a win. Someone like Orient at home. laticdickovarmy
http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/paulfletcher/2009/06/secrets_of_the_fixture_compute.html The teams we can actually play are limited hence why u quite often end up with a local derby on key dates, see the above link, i would personally like Huddersfailed at home opening day or a trip to somewhere in the August sun like Exeter (and because its close to me) Opening games bring big crowds where we all miss the football so a big side at home with a big gate would help

TheBigDog
To make you aware it's new years eve this year, not new years day: Opening day - home to Preston boxing day - away at a Sheffield team new years eve - home to anyone Easter Monday - away @ Rochdale last game - away @ Chesterfield Opening day - Away at Hartlepool - can't get to this game so this would suit me fine as I never go to Hartlepool anyway... Boxing day - Home to Huddersfield - nice to play in front of a big boxing day crowd New years Eve - Away to Carlisle - will be somewhere down south so Carlisle will do - see comment about Hartlepool Easter Monday - Home to Rochdale - this would be a good one last game - Away at Chesterfield - new Stadium for us and a promotion party...
