pukka
really enjoying erading the pre season predictions... "lancashire are one of the weakest teams in the division" "Lancashire will struggle to avoid the drop" HA HA.
leeslover
The players wanted it enough. The difference between winners and losers. Massive credit to the coaching staff.
singe
No t seena singel bit of this all, been manic at work still here!) But absolutely splendid AS the Warwicks guy said, 9 wins by WArwicks you would be nailed on to win the Champioship. And to win the champioship in one of the lousiest summers is all the more remarkable.

slystallone
Lancashire County Champions, Yorkshire relegated. If Carlsberg did cricket seasons..... /\ Indeed!! Massive credit to the coaching & management team, Moores in particular. Getting the best out of a small group of players & creating a real bond and teamspirit is to be really commended. Really chuffed for the likes of Glen Chapple & Gary Keedy; they deserve this moment for all their years of service.........and for youngsters like Brown, Proctor, Parry etc, this could be the start of something big for them. Didnt think i'd ever see a Championship win, so chuffed I have!!
dave_ragg1984
Lancashire County Champions, Yorkshire relegated. If Carlsberg did cricket seasons..... richjtaylor
Good to see a true star tonight. Step forward Jonny Bairstow. Yorkshire may be down but most certainly not out. As they say form is temporary, class is permanent

jsslatic
Player of the Year awards tonight: Champagne moment: Kerrigans 9-for Young player: Karl Brown One day player: Steven Croft Championship player: Glen Chapple Player of the year: Glen Chapple Chapple looked stunned to win both of his awards (though the former was apparently just based on rankings). Stephen Moore was justifiably (though surprisingly for him) awarded his county cap and Mark Chilton proved he has a career after cricket with a ten minute acoustic guitar set. jsslatic
Yep was quality, got my dirty mits on the trophy! Very good evening all round really, food was great and The Point is a cracking venue. Didn't stay for Clint Boon's DJ set for the after-party but sure that would have been fun too.
