no1laticsfan
What happened? Why did he get a red card?
dec666
Second yellow for a lazy tackle in stoppage time. Gordon and Roy seemed to say that the first one wasn't a booking, referee gave a foul against us when the lino flagged for one against them, bizarre! danoafc
Second yellow for a lazy tackle in stoppage time. Gordon and Roy seemed to say that the first one wasn't a booking, referee gave a foul against us when the lino flagged for one against them, bizarre! Just seen it on SSN and whilst the camera angle wasn't great it looked clumsy at worst to me and their lad went down like a sack of :censored:. Would be keen to see it again cos it looks like their lad had a chronic case of the 'Taylors'!
Big Badger the Latic
M'voto played much better tonight. I thought first booking was for handball outside the box but the linesman gave us a free kick then chickened out. Not too sure though
Latics and England
The booking was ridiculously harsh. As has been said, the linesman gave the freekick to us for a push on M'Voto but the ref didn't see him, ran over and immediately showed the yellow card. The lino then put his flag down. This pretty much summed up the performance of the officials.
mcgoo_84
He was definitely a lot better tonight than he was the first 3 games, looked more like the JYM that we were all do desperate to sign. His first booking may have been harsh - difficult to tell with us being so far away at the other end of the ground - however, knowing he'd been booked made gar second one all the more unforgivable. It was ridiculously stupid when the guy was going away from goal with 2 mins of injury time left when we were under the pump. Luckily it didn't cost us but it could have done!! dec666
Watched it on SSN and it looked like it wan't needed to be honest, their player was just already passing it backwards when he made the tackle. Maybe his Hazell style haircut as instilled some recklessness into him haha!

Zorrro
You can't appeal a red card if it is the result of two yellows.
danoafc
You can't appeal a red card if it is the result of two yellows. We can't appeal the two yellows, but I wonder if we can ask for a pesonal hearing in relation to the £2,500 fine for the overall number of yellow cards? youngen
I thought he was lucky with only a yellow for the first, the lino gave a very harsh foul from their striker then bottled it, but Mvoto wasnt getting to it and handled it stopping there lad going clean through on goal. If hed have pulled their striker down instead of handling he would have walked.

BlueJazzer
I don't get this can't appeal crap. If u have genuine case, like I believe we have since the linesman was giving us a foul, then I can't see how anybody can stop u from appealing. Dint get me wrong, they still wouldn't rescind it like, but it would be an idea to ask the question.....
