kev1969
On his way out of QPR Skysports.com understands Leon Clarke is poised to leave Queens Park Rangers before the close of the transfer window. The former Wolves and Sheffield Wednesday striker has found himself surplus to requirements at Loftus Road after not being handed a squad number by the Premier League new boys. Clarke, who joined QPR in the summer of 2010, has struggled to hold down a place in Neil Warnock's side and had a spell on loan at Preston last season. Swindon have expressed an interest in the 26-year-old, but a number of other clubs are also thought to have made enquiries about Clarke. Clarke is now waiting to see what offers come his way before deciding where to continue his career.

Macca
So long as he is fit enough? Not sure how much/little pre season football he's had. Looked tubby when he was here but managed to find the back of the net and at Sheffield Wednesday after that. Hopefully League 1 football would be more of a draw than Swindon. If we are to get another striker in then Brooke needs to be sent out on loan to get some games. I fear his talent maybe being wasted. Crusoe
As does their website. Including the interview with him and his hopes now he's signed. Think that boat has sailed.

Never rated him, shows his ambition moving down to League Two. Never looked fit when he was here and got lucky with a few penalties while he was here on loan. Dodged a bullet here! seasidelatic
Could he do a job? Yeah, of course. He could take the bins out, clean the players' boots, operate a turnstile or maybe even be trusted with the white line paint. Sign him up! Crusoe
Yeah, agreed. Like Mvoto showed his ambition (Sunderland to us), Furman did (Rangers to us), Lee (QPR to us), etc, etc, etc. It's not a very convincing criticism to level at a player unless you level at your own as well. I'd say League 1 is a step up from the SPL!!!
