BP1960
IMO it's worth approaching Jason Koumas now he's out on a limb, he may relish another chance at first team football and forsake big money wages Like John Sheridan he could star in this division on one leg. Koumas considers retiring

futchers briefs
I very much doubt, considering the 'wedge' that our Finnish star is earning, (even with playershares contribution) that we are in a position to be offering a 'competitive' salary. If he's going to retire he wont get anything at all, so in that context he may agree to a small wage.

Yard Dog
I'm sure he's had no shortage of offers, and expect he's waiting for the right club/contract.
ritchie82
Send Simpson back and the lad from Norwich, that will free some money up. Sign him like we did Morais and he'd be free to go elsewhere at anytime if a better deal came up. Not like he hasn't played at this level before. c.hill12
brighton showed an interest so i assume the retirement comment is a 'publicity stunt' so if anyone is interested they get a shift on. Rae is probably a more likely target though

Latics_Fanatic
Was a good player. Whether he still is after two years out... hmm...
footy68
The closest thing to lazyitis LJ will accept is Jose Baxter. Koumas has lazyitis by the bucket load, hence not played for 2 years.

Wonder what shape he is in. He wasn't the slimmest of players at the best of times. Very talented tomorrow...
slystallone
He's been training with Sheffield Weds for 2 years off & on - more off than on, but still. No-one has touched him during that time though as he was battling a drug habit (alledgedly!) Clean and rarring to go now apparently. Could be a decent signing if he's not killed all his brain cells and can remember how to kick a ball.
