AnthonyOAFC
So there's been talks of the game happening on either the Friday or the Sunday. Simon said it'll probably be on the Sunday. What do you think and what day would you prefer? I'd prefer it on a Sunday!
OAFCKeepTheFaith
Sunday - gutted not on Saturday though!

Zorrro
Sunday. If it's on the Friday I won't be able to get the day off, and that will make me a very sad panda.
no1laticsfan
Sunday definitely. Can never guarantee to get there on a Friday. And all the rush hour traffic to battle through

I'd prefer it on a Sunday! the suggestion seems to be that Liverpool want it on the Friday night the logic of which escapes me at the moment.I think we would push for the Sunday unless TV is interested in the Friday. no1laticsfan
Surely can't be a Friday. That would be a complete joke, what's liverpools idea behind that?
oafc-latics
why not saturday? are everton definitely playing that day then? less people would go on a friday, but as i dont have ESPN, i'd probably prefer that because there are two live games on ITV on the sunday! lancy lad
I will struggle to make the Friday, as would a few others with me tonight. Hope its on the Sunday. I also think if its on the Sunday there will be an extra 5,000 or 6,000 on the total crowd.
sjk2008
I'm pretty sure it's going to be on the Friday night. Won't be Sunday as I believe we have a JPT match on the Tuesday and Everton have defo won the right to the 3pm Sat kick off. Pretty annoyed about this but I'm sure my old man will be happy as he goes away Saturday lunchtime. Had a quick glance on RAWK and they're certain of a Friday night. The JPT isnt until mid January week commencing the 16th Liverpool play city but that shouldnt matter as they'll probably play there reserves against us either day Edited December 13, 2011 by Rocky_Latic

They'd be really struggling, having to rush Gerrard back from injury, start Carragher, Carroll and Bellamy.....Easy!!! Frankly Mr Shankly
Can see this being a Sunday game myself. When's the last time Liverpool had a Friday night game? That last match of the season when Arsenal beat them for the title? (1989).
oafckev
We'll play them whenever! We're going to Anfield and that's all that matters. Might make more money on the Sunday but before todays game I'm sure we'd take Wednesday afternoon as long as we got through!

PlayItLivo
Isn't our JPT game on the Tuesday though? So that would leave us with one day inbetween.

Would clash with an FA Cup replay when we bring Scousers back to BP.
rudemedic
Someone should tip Citeh off- if we play Liverpool on Friday night and they play PLC on Sunday that gives Liverpool 41 and a quarter hours extra rest- which is a bit of an unfair advantage.
