Museum de Latique
Nothing on the OS yet so just a reminder that the reserves have a home game against Wrexham this afternoon at Chapel Road. KO is 2pm.

As the seasoned reserves watcher you are - I guess you'll be watching? Can you do a quick scouting report on 2 elements of this game please Gary? How sharp does Diallo look after his injury? What is Irwin Jnr like - with a view to being a midfield option for us? ta,

Diallo looked sharp, had to leave after an hour, young Irwin was on the bench, Winchester, Mcgrath and Miller all looked good. cheers,

What is Irwin Jnr like - with a view to being a midfield option for us? ta, Diallo looked a class act Sly and I thought he seemed quite sharp, but he did tire and was subbed after about an hour, the sooner he is back in the fist team the better. I would keep him on the books as he has bags of ability, defends well and gets forward quickly, decent in the air too. Young Irwin is a dead dringer for his dad, played central midfield and showed some neat touches, I would say Winchester and Burns (who was again impressive) were ahead of him though. However, he could develop into a good full back (don't know why I think that ) Centre back Belezika shone more than Parkes so look out for him appearing in the first team before end of the season, he's a bit raw, but is quick and strong and very determined. Lukers1
McGrath didn't pay Lukers, I think you mean Hughes or Burns. Thanks, I didnt get a team sheet, must have been Hughes, the one who skinned the full back for the own goal.

Can you do a quick scouting report on 2 elements of this game please Gary? How sharp does Diallo look after his injury? What is Irwin Jnr like - with a view to being a midfield option for us? ta, Sorry for not replying before - I was straight off to a night shift from the game. Echo BP1960's comments - with another reserve game next Wednesday Diallo will be all the sharper. I would leave first team duty until after then unless there is dire need for someone to warm the subs bench. Twas a very young reserve side yesterday - Diallo was the only player over 19 playing against a more experienced Wrexham and they aquitted themselves well. Kyle Riley has quite a few problems up against the stalwart Glenn Little. As for Glen Belezika - that was probably his best game. For me though he makes far too many mistakes and the defenders around him are always wary when he is on the ball. Alex Parkes suffered a lot early in the season because of this and it is noticable that Parkes has been outstanding for the Youth's while Glen has been out for 3 months'ish. Forte_Baby
Thought Diallo had a good game myself of course he his still a few games short of 90 but would have him on the bench. Thought Irwin did ok but put in a few good challenges made a few good passes.
