WARNING: This information may be out-of-date in an ever-changing world.

Wycombe Wanderers, Adams Park, Hillbottom Road, High Wycombe, HP12 4HJ.

Adams Park is located on the outskirts of Wycombe at the far end of a long, seemingly never-ending, cul-de-sac which goes through an industrial estate. It is shared with London Wasps Rugby Club, in a rural setting with a wooded hill overlooking the ground (usually has a small contingent of supporters watching the game for nothing) and with green fields surrounding the other sides.

Away fans are accommodated in the Dreams Stand, a covered medium-sized single-tiered stand, with windshields to both sides, and an excellent view from behind the goal.

Not surprisingly, Wycombe’s nickname 'Chairboys' comes from the local furniture-manufacturing industry, and from which their first players came.

Disabled facilities:

There are 26 parking spaces, available on a first-come first-served basis to blue badge holders, with a field site used as an overflow. Inside the ground there are 12 wheelchair spaces available for away supporters in front of the away end, with helpers sitting behind. With the places at pitch-side they are exposed to the weather and subject to restricted views on movement of stewards and fans. Local Hospital Radio coverage via headsets iis available for visually impaired home and away supporters from the club office on a first-come first-served basis for home and away supporters. Helpers sit alongside free of charge. No special facilities for deaf or ambulant disabled supporters. There are 3 adapted toilets available. For enquiries contact Richard Stanford on Tel: 01494 455747.

To avoid the congestion around the stadium on a matchday, we recommend the local bus service. Pick-up times and prices are listed below. Return services depart from Adams Park ten minutes after the final whistle (subject to traffic conditions). Concessions are half price. All single fares are £3 with no concessions. Return services depart from Adams Park approximately 15 minutes after the final whistle.

On Foot:

A walk from the station to the stadium along the West Wycombe Road takes in several pubs to break up the 45 minutes walk. If you follow those in the know and cut across a park just after the last pub on the West Wycombe Road, you will reduce your walk by ten minutes.

Where to drink:

Early birds may be allowed into the Supporters’ Club at the stadium (admission £2) although it has been known for away fans to be refused admission even when arriving early. The Supporters’ Club is one of the suites at the far end of the Main Stand, and is a spacious room with two bars and food. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly.

The nearest pub, about a mile away, is the Hour Glass in Chapel Lane just past where you turn sharply off the A4010 at the mini-roundabout into Lane End Road, and about a 15 minute walk up to the stadium. It has multiple TV screens and a pool table.

Over a mile and a half away from the stadium is the Turnpike pub, New Road (A4010), High Wycombe, HP12 4R. This is part of the Hungry Horse chain - huge meals and a selection of beers, large screen TV and .children welcome.

Where to eat:

The Turnpike pub mentioned above, the Supporters’ Club or inside the stadium there is the standard menu of burgers, pies, pasties and hot dogs..

Attractions:

If you are a bird spotter, watch out at half-time or during dull moments, for Red Kites flying on the thermals over the stadium.

If you are a watcher of non-feathered ‘birds‘, the White Horse 95 West Wycombe Road (A40), about 1.5 miles from the stadium is likely to be more entertaining for adults than the match. The pub opens at 12.00noon on Saturdays, and has exotic dancers from 12.30pm, and the Bar 95 part of the premises operates in the evening. Entry is free, but each girl does a collection after her act.

White Horse/Bar 95 Dress Code & strict etiquette

(WARNING: occasional 'speed traps' operate here) At the bottom of the hill, pick up signs across a series of roundabouts for 'Aylesbury - A40 '. The White Horse (Bar 95) is about 1 mile on the left on the A40 after leaving the last roundabout.

That's unremarkable - before the kick off we have buzzards flying over the upper main stand at Boundary Park.
