Latics_Fanatic
Firstly, i'm not saying we should build one, costs etc etc, just made a mock up of what it would look like if we had one in place... and i think you'll agree, alot better! and yes, revision is tiring and boring
NewBlue
It would enhance the look of BP exponentially clearly from the pictures you've created but I'd love terracing to be put there. It may have been discussed before and I'm sure it would give a far better atmosphere, might drag some fans back (possibly clutching on straws) and as always cost comes into the equation; it would be a far cheaper alternative. Although almost anything filling that space would make BP look better. Edited April 21, 2012 by NewBlue

We're not allowed terracing though, football league rules about all-seaters not being allowed to go back to part-standing, unfortunately! AnthonyOAFC
I just hope the club announces something soon regarding the potential new stand.
laticsrblue
and yes, revision is tiring and boring It's the return of the old Broadway Stand! Get yourself a +box
Bunty Blue
It does feel as though BP is less intimidating these days and that home form isn't what it was when we had four stands. But I might be misty eyed about the atmosphere created and the helpful hints directed at opposition players nearest the stand. Perhaps some statto could compare home form for before and after stand pulled down.

opinions4u
The new stand in the last image appears to block the view from the Corner Flag Suite. Which has no owl on it! How about sticking a decent stand on the Broadway side, knocking down the main stand and replacing that with a budget stand ...
Microcuts
It looks a lot better, and certainly would give more of a 'football ground' feel to BP again. Though I get the feeling were it to be done, that we would not recuperate the cost - and the 'temporary' stand would end up being in place for about 5 seasons whilst no other progress was being made! I agree though, we could do with hearing something soon just to give the place a bit of optimism!
lancy lad
I think the only way it would ever happen is if we somehow got into The Championship. We have another 3 stands that we dont even half fill at the moment!
RoytonLatics
Couldn't the club just put the seats back onto what was the paddock? And have it as an uncovered stand costing £15/18 to get in?
Latics_Fanatic
Slap a temporary roof over the stand and i'd sit there, loved my seat in the lookers, apart from when it rained..
jsslatic
A piddly temporary stand with similar depth to the (albeit permanent) one Accrington have would do me, and I'd sit there. I miss the Lookers.
BP1960
This one holds almost 3,000 seated and is seen as a temporary solution at Munster until a permanent new stand can be built. Edited April 22, 2012 by BP1960
Lookers_Carl
How much did Blackpools temporary stand cost?
BP1960
Don't know, but judging from this link about £20 per seat; http://www.oxfordtimes.co.uk/sport/9493116.Oxford_United_decide_against_fourth_stand_for_local_derby/r/?action=complain&cid=10038122

A bit like the temporary structures that appear for major golf events. Slightly different to the Blackpool structure which could easily last a decade. oldhamandy1
How much would this cost? More than we have I would think, a shame as it may help the atmosphere and belief that there are plans.
