shefflatic
nice one on the degree Hallam - agree Sheffield is a brilliant city, not too far over the hill but far enough to be away from home/independent but above all i found it a vibrant enjoyable city, really enjoyed the trips back with Latics to retrace old steps, glad i can do it again this year! BP1960
Zavon Hines released from burnley , can play up front or on either wing , spent time at bournemouth last season ?? Good one, but he chose not to take up the option of a second year on his contract, this may mean he was on good money and above Latics budget. the_mighty_bosh
The things that stand out for me on that list are: Tarky being No. 6, indicates to me that he'll be a first choice CB this year. No number 9 nor 11, surely a good indicator of the positions being lined up for new signings?

Crusoe
That's what the OS has him down as. Until he gets picked in a particular position, I guess.

No number 9 nor 11, surely a good indicator of the positions being lined up for new signings? PD on OS Has just said two pieces of the jigsaw missing. Two pieces are missing Paul Dickov has intimated he is two pieces away from completing jigsaw for the forthcoming campaign. Latics' manager currently has 20 contracted professionals. "We are possibly two players short, wide left and a striker," he explained. While the search continues, Dickov says it is important they are the right players. "We won't be rushing in as we have to make sure they are the right characters to fit into the team," he explained. Crusoe
Apparently Byrne's signed a one-year deal, according to his local paper. I'll update the list when there's any more to add.

Time will tell. Just to note the 2013 list has Gosset, who is a youth contract.
