pukka
We Played in orange for about 5 years. If I ever win massive on the euromillions. We wont again.
jimsleftfoot
Blue and tangerine feels like Oldham for me, don't know why, but it does. It's more destinctive than blue and white in that manner.
LaticsPete
We Played in orange for about 5 years. If I ever win massive on the euromillions. We wont again. I'd agree as a first kit but it was our change shirt for many years - and at home when FA cup rules said that if colours clashed it was the home team that had to change. FA Cup 3rd Rnd Replay 1961/2 at BP versus Bristol Rovers we played in orange shirts. Also in the friendly against OFK Belgrade , same season. pukka
Unless someone is over the age of 50 there is no reason why blue and orange is latics. Ive gone home and away since 1989. For years we played in red away. I wanted the inverted Ajax away kit again of 1992/93. Lets just say Im not impressed!
pukka
Not had Tangerine shirts with blue shorts recently…... I didnt like that either and said the same. http://www.colours-of-football.com/colours03/eng/luton/eng_luton_2_0103.gif I understand a lot will like it. But I personally dont. Bright orange isnt a good look. Edited May 25, 2012 by pukka
Crusoe
Hmm. It's distinctive. But ugly. I much prefer the new home kit.
oafcprozac
Each to their own mate, I have to say I prefer a RED away away kit too as I started going in 1986 and we had a red away kit then and proceeded to to have red away kits until 1994. Since then we've had 86-87 Red 87-90 Red 90-92 Red with blue collar 92-94 Ajax Inverted 94-96 Orange and Navy 96-97 Jade and Navy 97-00 White and Burgundy 00-01 Navy and Burgundy 01-03 Burgundy and Gold 03-04 Yellow and Blue 04-05 Black and Grey 05-06 White and Blue 06-07 Navy and Gold 07-08 Tangerine and Blue 08-09 Monkey Sick Yellow 09-10 Navy and Orange 10-11 White and Blue 11-12 Black and Gold 12-13 Tangerine, Blue and White I think like a home kit, the away kit should convey a sense of identity, I'd like to see us choose a change colour scheme and stick with it. Look at Liverpool and United in years gone by? Red home kit, white away kit. Occasionally yellow for Liverpool. Same with Arsenal, red and white home, yellow away kit. I know the aim is to sell shirts and every club has sold their souls over the last 25 years, but I would love us to stick with a colour now….one that says…. "Now that kit is Oldham Athletic…." steveoafc
The perfect combo for me, blue at home and tangerine away............looks like the club will be making some money out of me.
pukka
Thanks for posting that. I have gone home and away since 1989 - as a 5 year old. You can see why to me that kit is not latics.
steveoafc
I think this is the first side i started watching..........bryceland, bowie, bebbington, fryatt shaw etc...
oafc-latics
I like that, and now i've got a decision to get that orthe home shirt.. whether it's 'Oldham' or not, it's a bright colour and is more distinctive to the opposition than blue which makes us stand out on the pitch away from home, last time we had these colours didnt we win 7 away on the trot, including Millwall, Everton and Leeds? brad
It looks way to much like blackpools. I will still be buying it but I'd perferred the black kit of this season
pukka
If anyone likes it then fair play - no kit wil please everyone. But. If they are reduced to £1, I still wont be wearing one.

oafc-latics
because no-one had posted a picture... i cant see why people don't like it but i'm a fan personally, the only reason i'd choose the home shirt is that it will be worn more by the players. edit - is that the lookers and chaddy in the top right background?
