rosa
Am i the only one who wanted Sheff Utd to lose? As funny as watching Hudds choke AGAIN (and let's face it, they did over the 120 mins) would have been, Sheff Utd's a bigger pay day, plus the way some of their fans and players reacted to Ched Evans being jailed was disgusting. And, y'know, Chris Porter. hahahahahahahahaha.
opinions4u
I wanted Huddersfield to lose. Only because Sheffield's such a :censored: place to get to for a town so close as the crow flies.
laticdickovarmy
We can only hope they get battered every week Going to be a good trip to Brammel Lane again next season
OldhamSheridan
Sheffield has much better pubs. Porter is a <insert expletive>. Sheffield United are more likely to cut back/go bankrupt, whereas Hudders won't. Bates' face will fall off when Huddersfield glide past Leeds into division one. the_mighty_bosh
I'll be interested to see what happens to the Blades next year, I can imagine that a lot of their players will still be on Championship wages so they may have to overhaul their squad and rebuild. They'll still be among the favourites to go up but I don't think they'll be obviously superior to the rest of the league. I don't think there will be any obvious favourite next year tbh. laticdickovarmy
Are sheff utd still getting premership parachuate payments?
laticdickovarmy
Im going tomorrow to watch Cheltenham as they are my local side only 10mins from my house really hope they come up go there next season, its sad by their chairnan said he wants the day out at wembley but dont want to go up as knows they wont be able to compete
OldhamSheridan
I can't think they are getting anything in from the parachute payments, as it's been five years. Not sure what the figures are now for them, but they reported £46M in debt two seasons ago and I can't think that has done anything other than increase. rosa
And their former owner is now taking over Rangers.......
deyres42
Think they are still being paid by West Ham over the Tevez affair, but can't imagine the likes of Lowton and Quinn will fancy another season in Div 3. Get Crewe back up tomorrow and it'll have been a decent weekend for us.
