BP1960
i love the name as well 'New Boundary Park' - if ever a re-name was to take place who needs designers/architect fees when we have these designs! Wel done A few people have suggest that 3/4 of the stadium should be used at the current BP site, so here goes... This image comes from behind the Chaddy end and shows how well the new stands mix in with the RRE This is another image of the stadium from a different angle - notice the extended back of the RRE - looks nicer than it currently does, how much a bit of paint and brickwork can do! Finally, this again highlights how well the RRE looks when mixed in with the other stands - would be a perfect situation IMO. Thanks again for all your comments! Well done Latics Fanatic, it's breathtaking. I agree, team up with Hallam Blue, approach the powers that be and maybe you can make it come true. Latics_Fanatic
i love the name as well 'New Boundary Park' - if ever a re-name was to take place who needs designers/architect fees when we have these designs! Problem with my models is just that, they are models - there is minimal accuracy in the way they are built - eg. The RRE isn't exact to how it is in real life - but it looks good - however i'm sure they could be used by a proper architect as a base plan for a new stadium - someone who makes money from it :winks:
RoytonLatics
All very impressive fellas, what capacity is this supposed to be??
RoytonLatics
Gallows could be a good adition, for the players that don't meet some of the fans overly high expectations haha!

BP1960
I suggest contacting the Oldham Chronicle and/or the Oldham Advertiser Latics Fanatic and Hallam Blue, your works shown here would make for a good article, and as well as attracting good publicity the news feature could be added to your CVs. http://www.oldham-ch...home/contact-us http://menmedia.co.u...9881_contact-us Edited June 5, 2012 by BP1960

I never expected this to be so popular when i started modeling it a few weeks ago - turns out my work paid off in the end - thanks for all your comments, it would be amazing if this was to become reality but i think the club have something lined up seeing as we're due an announcement soonish. Again, thanks everyone!
pinevillawill
Gotta say, love the 'stepped' stands behind both goals. I'm all for the main stand standing out and being bigger than the opposite. (unlike Chesterfield, for example)
OLDHAM4ALWAYS
Teriffic -- Makes you feel proud of the club when you see a stadium built on the lines that you have sketched. Really would make an impression and bring back some fans. Nice to see we have some fans who are truly trying to lift the club. Well done. singe
Can you create a CGI 3D statue of big Joe on the lawn area to the right? Are differnet shades of brick easy to do. I am jsut thinking we could incorporate the kind of standard Oldham mill brick for heritage Cheers

captinkrotch
Some serious work been put into these! Always Great to see vision and creativity. It's this kind of input that could inspire the corporate honchos to take ideas and run with them.
