Bristolatic
I've gone for club badges in this one. I suppose whoever gets them right can choose the next subject. Anyway, there's two from England, two from Scotland and two from Europe, but not necessarily in that order. Apologies if the blurring out of the names doesn't look too good. Bristolatic
I'll admit to cheating a bit here. It is an instrument of torture in a way. It is a device to prevent a thief from stealing a pocket watch. When the link is pulled, the spikes shoot out and impale the thief's fingers. What happens to the owner of the watch if he whips it out of his pocket a bit smartish? At least he would know the time. Time to get to hospital. Quickly. Now, back to footie based things. 2 English and 2 Scottish this time

Bristolatic
Alphonso - Carlo Corazzin perhaps? 'Fraid not. Although he did have an unusual middle name - Michele. Well, it would have been unusual if he was English, but maybe not so if you are of Canadian/Italian descent.
