philliggi Posted June 18, 2012 Share Posted June 18, 2012 (edited) quietly pleased with this one. obviously dont know much about him. but a bit of research: scorer for the under-18s last term, Newcastle-born Taylor is a strong and determined centre-forward with an eye for goal and broke into the Reserve team set-up towards the end of last season. A Magpies fan whose heroes included Alan Shearer and Andy Carroll, former North Shields boys' club player Taylor joined United in 2005, something which remains his career highlight to date. However, if he keeps on progressing there will be many more highlights to come. Scored 4 in 3 for Ashington. Fans like him.
