Really think we should stay well clear of Leon Clarke.......This is a report shortly after leaving Swindon.

...................

Paolo himself admitted it yesterday: “No one had said to me that he was not very professional, only when he signed did someone send a text message to a member of the club saying ‘good luck for the nightmare’.”

How many phone calls would it have taken for someone to mention Clarke’s terrible attitude? One to Phil Brown who sent Clarke back to QPR from his loan spell at Preston after just one game? One to former Shrimpers boss Steve Tilson who saw Clarke flounce off down the tunnel after being substituted while on loan at Roots Hall. How about Glenn Hoddle, Dave Jones, Mick McCarthy or Brian Laws? Their answers would probably have been very similar they all wanted rid, or got rid, of Clarke.

They can't all be wrong............................can they?

I wouldn't take too much notice of what that pillock says.

Always thought his attitude was spot-on when he was here. Was very complimentary about the club after he left us, reinforced by his refusal to celebrate when he scored against us for Southend.

People can change, I suppose......

A certain Frenchman who was the ultimate spark to fan the flames of unpresidented success at a scum club was the biggest sore in most clubs souls until he found his home.

Not saying Clark is that good however, everyone finds their space.

By reading that, the only Manager he's worked with who he hasn't had any trouble with is Sheridan!
