Gaz_Oafc
signed for Tranmere put it in the subtitle Ah right, doesnt show subtitles on my phone! Thought he was destined for L2! not good enough and the right decision to release him IMO!

oafc joe
Ah right, doesnt show subtitles on my phone! Thought he was destined for L2! not good enough and the right decision to release him IMO! I thought originally it was the wrong decision to release him, as if he is 20 times better than diallo! but now we have Grounds I think it was probably the correct decision
beag_teeets
I wouldn't have released him, I wouldn't have released Tierney or Griffin either and never bought the nonsense that "they are targetting our left back".
pukka
A Replacement for David Buchanan who was in my class at school.
Microcuts
Really pleased for him. He's done very very well to stay in this division. He's a good lad, works hard and deserves this opportunity. Good luck Paul!
razza699
I think people are being harsh on him. Boro werent sniffing round for the hell of it a couple of years ago. When hes not told to play so narrow like all of our full backs were I think he will do well
Gaz_Oafc
I see walsall were in for him too! Razza, can you seriously see him Playin in the premiership in a few years time? Man Utd were sniffing round Bembo-leta a few years ago too!
razza699
Could anyone of said that about Tierney ? I wouldnt say Prem but dont be surprised to see him in Champ
MaskedOwl
trains hard and has a good attitude but lacks that quality and he isn't the quickest. his Dad is an agent and was touting him to other, 'bigger' clubs but i'm not surprised it didn't happen. oafcprozac
That and the fact he was dropped every full season he played for us in favour of a more attacking LB tbh I thought PD harsh in releasing him but the consensus is that we have traded up with Grounds and Ronnie has previous in signing dodgy LB's ...Rob Scott and Eddy anyone? -
slystallone
Ah - good news he's got fixed up; and in league 1 to boot. I hope some of our clowns don't boo him on his return to BP. I rated Blacky, thought he wasa decent LB and I probably would have looked to have kept him - but I feel we have traded up with Grounds so all's well that ends well. Traffordtic
Chuffed for him, he's a good lad at heart and was possibly a scapegoat because of the managements tactical naivety!.....oooh controversial! He had ability and fitted in well in previous seasons, he didn't just suddenly become :censored:.
lancy lad
Best of luck to him. I cant help but feel he will be another Tierney Seriously? Absolutely no chance IMO!
we hate man,u and city to
He may become a very good league 1 left back in the future but we can't wait for him to develop as a first choice. we need a good league 1 left back with experience e.g. grounds. I doubt black would want to wait for his chance again like a year or 2 ago so its best for him, that he moves on and gets regular football, and by the sounds of it, he is their only LB. palmer1
he was steady at the back but not enough pace, teams saw him as a weak link and it was exploited more than once gave nothing going forward poor positional sense and at times poor distribution - the times he moved forward with the ball closing his and the our wide mans options down....... frustrating gave his all and improved each year he was with us ,Ronnie may get more out of him good luck to the lad but if im honest there are plenty just like him out there
