jimsleftfoot Posted July 11, 2012 Share Posted July 11, 2012 The average salary in the Premiership is around £22k per week according to many sources but according to the following link, it suggests that the higher paying sides pay their players between £50k-£60k per week http://www.sportingi...-madrid-010501/ with the average salary at Man City being aproximately £86,280 per week I'd expect that, but when you have some being paid 200k + it means that there are still some towards the bottom end. I would expect teams like Blackpool were mostly paying under the 22 grand amount (when we're in the prem) and hey Ho they made money. Interesting stat L1 average now same as prem when it started.
