Dave_Og
I think Chainrai owns the ground? That doesn't sound too promising
Lee Sinnott
It won't be long before they are spending 400k on strikers and then crying to anyone will listen in another two years when they are in the same boat again! Zero sympathy for them, especially that prick John Portsmouth Football Club Westwood!
oafcprozac
Wants 11m for the ground Trust have offered 4.5m -

RobOAFC
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19284581 Pompey sign 10 players on one month deals
jsslatic
All be able to play against us then, including Howard, McLeod and Harley.
rudemedic
Despite being in administration, Pompey get to start the season on 0 points and get their points deduction if they leave administration. That could cause a few problems if they are on the border of a significant league position.
Forte_Baby
Dont want to see them go under but rules are rules they should start on minus ten or have the football league finally realised one of there so called clubs are on the verge of going under. pukka
They are a disgrace. I hope they go under and I wont be giving them my money on 1st sept.
JoeP
http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/19284581 Pompey sign 10 players on one month deals So they don't have new owners, are in debt up to their eyeballs and yet can sign 10 players, have a team which could turn out to be better than Latics' and start on 0 points? Felt sorry for them previously, but they're just taking the michael, arn't they? Hope they go down....
oafcmad09
Got a -10 points deduction. Probably see them sent down. Feel for the fans but this is what crap owners does to you I thought this but looking at the table they haven't. After a draw today they are on +1 points (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/league-one/table). Think it may have gone on last season. (http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2897/championship/2012/02/17/2912867/football-league-confirms-portsmouths-10-point-deduction).

Twisbrogan
The likes of John Harley, Steve Howard and Izale McLeod wont come cheap or for free. Exactly. Although they didn't have a full bench yesterday, the players they have contracted have all been demanding a lot of money from other clubs. It's a disgrace and I'd hope that their supporters are able to see how wrong it is so these contracts can be questioned. When they came out of administration the first time round, they went straight back to paying top-whack for players and got into trouble again and now it looks like they're up to their old tricks again. steveoafc
I think the players they've recruited have been given one month contracts, is that to attempt to reduce the 10pt penalty asap before they assemble a more likely bunch of players?
Gaz_Oafc
Players like Mcleod who have had offers from elsewhere (with more security) wont just throw all that away for a 1 month contract at a club thats going bust. They must have had some sort of assurances that there is a contract waiting for them and the future of pompey is secure.
stevesidg
The likes of John Harley, Steve Howard and Izale McLeod wont come cheap or for free. Small point , but I think they've signed Brian Howard. Steve Howard signed by Hartlepool earlier in the summer .
bigfatjoe1
They're a relatively modesly sized/smallish club which has been owned/run by dickheads who thought it was a 30,000 plus potential club. it isn't and hasn't been in modern times. as usual, fans and players suffer because of owners/non-football management. loyal fan base i feel sorry for. btw, i always thought the atmosphere down there was crap - infact, a contradiction in terms ('Portsmouth' and 'atmosphere'), unless they're playing a big club (and isn't that the same for everyone?)
