RobOAFC
It's not wingers we need it's a striker and a midfielder that can pass forwards and cross the halfway line - Mellor? UpTheLatics
It doesn't matter. If he scores 30 league goals he's still not gonna be Romario, is he? He's started very well in a team that has done the same. I think his release split opinion down the middle. As things stand, he's proving us wrong. Good luck to the lad. Twisbrogan
Reid scored his second so, whilst it's early, both players that were shipped off to Yeovil have now bagged a couple each whilst our lot are seemingly strangled by nerves. Good luck to him indeed - but to say he's proved anyone wrong is incorrect - he might not score again all season now! It's not unheard of! If after 20 games he's got 12-15 goals then sure he's proved people wrong... until then he's just had a good couple of games.
oafcprozac
Reid looks ultra fit again, it shows the lax regime at the club when someone like Reid, (Our main striker until Kuqi signed) can be allowed to return from injury in such an unfit state. The guy should have been beasted... I'm increasingly seeing from Dickov what we saw from Penney namely midfielders and full backs :censored:ting themselves when they pass the halfway line, turn back and tippy tappy :censored: in our own half. Same with the strikers, they are so isolated...

He's already almost equalled his goals in open play record after just 4 1/2 games at Huish Park. It took him 18 months here to score 4 goals in open play…the sum of his goals that weren't from 12 yards….and why's he have to score 12-15 goals in 20 games? 12-15 goals over the season would be enough to prove everyone at BP wrong...
