opinions4u
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/bigscreen/tv/episode/b01myf18/ Shows the red card, penalty and the goals. The red card: I don't like the rule, but he's gone in the way they are told not to go in. Could feel hard done to because he gets the ball, but the high foot appears to get Byrne. Their first goal: How the hell did they have a man over? Our first goal: Great work by Croft. Makes me think the mythical creative midfielder is already on the books. The penalty: Why, when somebody is about to head the ball on target, and ets taken out, is it not a goal scoring opportunity? If it was flying over his head, fine. But it wasn't. The defender should have walked. Their second goal: I'm going to give Cisak the benefit of the doubt. Fluke. Freak. Not sure he'd have got it whatever he'd done. Our second goal: Great header (unchallenged) from Montano and Baxter showing all the right instincts close up. opinions4u
Does section 10.b on page 18 of the link below make it a red card? http://www.thefa.com/News/my-football/referees/2009/jul/~/media/05960C35FC5C43FA97BDDC3009960E76.ashx/ApplicationofLaws.pdf Edited September 16, 2012 by opinions4u
dec666
I agree about Croft, a couple of times yesterday he received the ball in the middle of the pitch, turned and did something with it! If Baxter doesn't extend his 4 months, moving Croft in there is something Dickov should look at!
