Lags Posted September 22, 2012 Share Posted September 22, 2012 Many a thread have included members stating they believe that certain on loan players we've had have had it in their deal they must start and play games. Interesting interview with the Pompey manager on football focus today that probably clears that one up. He mentioned he had on loan players that had they not played then Pompey had to pay more to the parent club. I guess it boils down to the same thing other than a club cannot insist it's player starts games rather than makes it difficult not to start him due to financial penaties.
