opinions4u
What's up with that? MK Dons V Wimbledon? The man sees the need to do a jig when a set of football fans have their noses rubbed in it.

longtimeblue
No that that's what the club's about but if ever there was time for a bit of decorum... Echo the sentiments of most on here, massively routing for the Dons.
Bristolatic
No that that's what the club's about but if ever there was time for a bit of decorum... Echo the sentiments of most on here, massively routing for the Dons. I take it you mean the proper Dons from Wimbledon and not the deceitful, conniving bunch of plastics from the concrete jungle. Not that I'm biased or owt.
24hoursfromtulsehill
I can't think of a fixture where the neutrals' backing for one team would be so overwhelming. I'd be very tempted to go up there and show my support in person.
24hoursfromtulsehill
In fact, it should be some sort of national event. Fans from all over the country should go in the away end with their normal team's scarf. Won't happen. Nice thought.

Only a matter of time before this fixture happens.
24hoursfromtulsehill
Suppose so. But it'd be nice somehow to let MK Mongs know just how much they're hated by every football fan.
Break The Silence
Tosser. In one.
rudemedic
By doing that you would be putting money into Mk dons. Only a matter of time before this fixture happens. You'd be putting more into the pockets of MK Dons if you go to a league game there. In this case 45% (or about that much) goes to Wimbledon and the same goes to Franchise. In some ways it's good if all the people in the ground for that game, if it happens, are MK Dons fans. As Wimbledon will still get 45% of the gate and it will all be coming out of the pockets of supporters of a club that shouldn't exist. There is definately some logic in 24hours point though; as Wimbledon may not have any fans go so if a load of fans of other clubs turn up then at least Wimbledon's players get a bit of support. leeslover
I'm just thinking of ways to deal with this. It will be a big tie on TV if it gets on with plenty in the pubs, maybe get some sort of viral campaign to have collections for grass roots football during matches whilst cheering the :censored: to oblivion? jimsleftfoot
By doing that you would be putting money into Mk dons. Only a matter of time before this fixture happens. Money is shared though unlike a league game.
spadam
Hopefully Cambridge will win to stop this game from happening.
LaticsChris
Suppose so. But it'd be nice somehow to let MK Mongs know just how much they're hated by every football fan. If some sort of 'real' fan solidarity event was needed to provide support to Wimbledon without financing Evil Lord Winkleman's Dastardly MK Empire maybe those fans interested should go and occupy the Stadium MK car park for the day. Welcome the team coach, shout & cheer at the ground, but without paying to enter.

lancy lad
I actually really want this game to happen. I think most of us do really, I just wish it could happen and Wimbledon could smash the plastics 5-0.
laticdickovarmy
Id love nothing more than the game to go to a replay actually that way the mk dons players, :censored: of a manager and club officals will have to show their face down in Wimbledon and scare the :censored: out of them and make it hostile The beauty of it being at Mk is big stadium and even if not a single Wimbledon fan went they will still good a good payday of gate receipts
opinions4u
The beauty of it being at Mk is big stadium and even if not a single Wimbledon fan went they will still good a good payday of gate receipts A big empty stadium, based on my one treachorous visit to the place. laticdickovarmy
Yeah cant argue that, the game last season was the worst atmosphere and game ever watched just ridiculous in their and they are looking at build upwards by the concrete above the bottom tier! I know we got dicked 5-0 but it wasnt that that made it rubbish and the food was the worst ever had at a football ground
24hoursfromtulsehill
Another reason to go: this is a proper grudge match.
Forte_Baby
In fact, it should be some sort of national event. Fans from all over the country should go in the away end with their normal team's scarf. Won't happen. Nice thought. When both sides nearly drew each other last season Wimbledon fans said they would boycott the game as they did not want to share gate money or put any money into the Mk Dons pocket. They also claimed to do the same at home with fans suggesting they go buy an item from the club shop instead.
