The Secret Escapes (£1.50 a click) campaign has also been significant. I've just had the confirmation the over £1,600 has been sent to the main PlayerShare bank account from the company that hosts the PlayerShare Webshop site. This contribution is significant. Thank you to all who have helped deliver it. Please use PlayerShare WebShop every time you shop online. It costs you nothing. It helps us sign players like Kuqi, retain players like Wesolowski and, who knows, it could even be the difference between retaining or losing Baxter. Make a difference. Virtually no effort. I'd say a dozen or so people use it regularly. Multiply that by 100 - to a third of the tpyical home gate - and it could make a massive difference. Lots of small efforts can make a difference. This is one small effort that could be even bigger - if people want it to be and make it happen. And remember, PlayerShare raises most of its money from subscriptions. That money ensured we got Kuqi and his relegation saving goals last season. That money helped secure Wesolowski for this season. The £1.50 "sell Secret Escapes your email address" thing in Aug / Sept has funded most of that sum. Typically it's around £25 a month topped up by £200 at Xmas - so the same as 8-10 additional members of PlayerShare. I genuinely believe it could produce several times more if people made the most of it. The fifa competition and the xmas family party which promises to be a fantastic day for everyone. Absolutely loads going on. see the related threads. £1600 is fantastic and well done to all involved. To put it into context the (approx) £4k that we now have in the account which should be closer to £5k during the transfer window is LESS than he total contribution towards Kuqi last season if memory serves me well and playershare WAS the difference in him signing or not. Every little really does help. Whether it is making a £1 purchase through the webshop or donating £5 a month or attending events.
