yardieoafc
According to latest accounts for year ended 31 December 2011, Latics made a small profit of around £8k for last year. However, the company still has net liabilities of over £5.4m. The accounts have been prepared on a Going Concern basis and the accounts state that the shareholders intend to continue to provide adequate finance to enable the company to continue in operational existence (although that is fairly standard wording). NIKI1234
Not knowing a lot about this sort of thing but the Liverpool game was Jan 2012. The OP says the accounts are for year ending Dec 2011 so this wouldnt count? Edited November 9, 2012 by NIKI1234

yardieoafc
You are correct to say that any profit from the Liverpool game wouldn't be included - that would fall in to year ended 31 December 2012 accounts. Accounts are filed with Companies House and are available to the public (although I think there is a fee - I just have access through my job).
