Latics_Fanatic
With Bouzanis inevitably being banned for 3 matches from Saturday, what would you do? - Re-call Cisak and have to pay Accrington for him having played 50 games for us (not sure on the exact fee) or... - Throw Jacob in - inexperienced but he'd give it a good go... Interesting times!

BP1960
It's going to be Cisak recalled after Bouzanis's straight red tonight.

the_mighty_bosh
If we play Cisak and win we get £27k prize money + chance of a money spinner in the next round. Definitely worth the gamble.
rudemedic
Cisak- he played his 50th game for us against Walsall in August. He played 47 games last season.

Effectively an investment. Worth it, Jacob may be great but it's no time for a gamble. Bouzy will be kicking himself. Time for Cisak to come back and claim the shirt as his own. Think the argument is JPT games don't count so it's 49. May be bollocks.
BP1960
Why did he get sent off? Straight red; handled ball outside the area with Doncaster's Hulme also sent off after his second yellow card.

Twisbrogan
They won't even contemplate playing Jacob. Bouzanis will be out for 3 matches and Sarurday is too big a game to gamble on a rookie keeper.
LaticMark
I'm sure there used to be a league rule that you could not recall a player in the first month of a loan? I just hope Latics' recall clause is watertight!
steveoafc
It could prove costly for bouzanis, cisak could now get back in and be difficult to shift. It's one thing to lose your place because of poor form, but to lose it because of the red mist is unfortunate.

lancy lad
Cisak without doubt. It's no time to chance inexperience and Dickov will know that!

oafcprozac
But the card for the handball would have been a 1 match ban…..
Hands on
Latics have a 24hr recall clause should Bouzanis get injured. Now wouldn't it be 'funny' if getting a red card is not covered!!!!!!!!!!!
Twisbrogan
But the card for the handball would have been a 1 match ban….. The straight red for violent conduct will be 3 games
oafcprozac
Yes I know, irony lost on you? Ok I'll explain, gets away with handling the ball outside the box - usually a red and a 1 match ban. 30 seconds later gets sent off for violent conduct = 3 match ban….
