bigfatjoe1
Seems to have been a smoother than usual operation...apart from the lack of free refreshments. Queues kept to a relative minimum. Most seem to have got a ticket. Dare i say well done?
ghostofcecere
It always makes me chuckle that people get up at 5 in the morning to queue for tickets. Wait til the rush of the first few days dies down then stroll up an get your ticket at leisure.

Wait til the rush of the first few days dies down then stroll up an get your ticket at leisure. But then your seat won't be as good as it could have been! alex_balls
I can see sub 10,000, i'll say 9200. In "Sell outs" past, the official attendance has been read at 12700 etc.

razza699
I wonder if it will be a Sell out sell out or a Man City weve still got blue seats everywhere but we are sold out
alex_balls
City in 05, the attendance was 13100, do you think we would have sold close to that if the capacity was still the same?

opinions4u
Didn't City have all the RRE that day? So only 1,000 or so more home tickets available with the Lookers.

rudemedic
There were quite a lot of City fans in our 3 sections of the ground that day too. But it's a lot easier to get to our ticket office for the average City fan than the average Liverpool fan.

In "Sell outs" past, the official attendance has been read at 12700 etc. I thought these days attendances are tickets sold rather than bums on seats, thats why Arsenal's attendance comes in just over 60,000 every match despite thousands of empty seats. longtimeblue
There were quite a lot of City fans in our 3 sections of the ground that day too. Much to my delight come the final whistle. My mate found a phone on the pitch that day and rang a number to arrange for the fella pick it up. Was rewarded with a case of beer for his honest... Might've been someone on here? The maintenance man was called to that section a couple of months ago. a complaint had been put in as they people thought it was the drains. We were all shaking our heads and pointing to the guy in question
