BP1960
My son has looked at Bournemouth team sheets for the FA cup and cant see his name, so looks like he is ok He's not cup tied.
Lukers1
So for the next game: Bouzanis Brown, Byrne, Mvoto, Grounds Obita, Baxter, Wesolowski, Croft Barnard, Iwelumo That looks like a good line-up to me. Even with Smith, Simpson and Mchangama out, it still means Murray on the bench as well. Going to be a 4 1 3 1 1 formation,
BP1960
Two strikers. Dickov needs to decide where to play Baxter. Behind the front 2...PD has hit on the right system at last, hope to see lots more goals from now on.
BP1960
Going to be a 4 1 3 1 1 formation, I'd say 4-1-2-1-2, No room for Furman in this set up - except if Wesolowski is unavailable. Edited January 31, 2013 by BP1960
Stevie_J
Is he cup tied? Nope. Hasn't played in the FA Cup this season.
pinevillawill
Signed until the end of the season on loan. Not an out and out goalscorer but works his arse off and his a real pain as we've seen when he's played against us. Will create space for others. A young Paul Warne in a lot of ways and very much in the mould of the manager. Pleased with our business, suddenly have a bit of variety He's better than a young Paul Warne. the_mighty_bosh
Excellent day for OAFC. Well done all. we moan but with good cause at times today we cant unless we are thick. Interesting Derbyshire v Barnard I would take Barnard. At the moment I'd take Derbyshire, but certainly willing to give Barnard a chance! Laticacid
more good work from PD, god if he could manage a team we d be in business!! now, with simpson, smith, baxter, iwelumo and barnard to choose from, if we dont start attacking teams, creating chances, scoring goals and winning games he should be shot!! (not literally of course) get furman back and things are looking up, but then i said that earlier in the season when croft, montano, derbs ,and jose tore into preston. for the run in.... boozy brown mvotoes byrne baby grounds wes croft baxter furman barnard iwelumo then subs from.. smith simmo tarky winchester murray mellor montano hughes sutherland obika (short term) christ, lots of left wingers there!! only area of concern is defence, couple of injuries we re in trouble, other wise....OPTIONS !!! Fervid
The makings of a good league one side there, if PD can't get a few wins with this lot then bye bye.
butchcass
Good move. I think one of his 3 goals for Crewe was the one when Crossley kicked it up his arse from point blank range and it bounced off him into the net. I could be wrong though. the_mighty_bosh
I asked the same thing, this was his response: He was ALLEGEDLY arrested in a bar in Southampton for hitting someone with a glass bottle. Him, harding and butterfield were out in town, and inside whitehouse, a few lads gave dan harding some stick. As they were leaving the club, they gave harding some more abuse, and lee barnard just flipped and hit him on the head with the botttle. He'll certainly score goals though if he's fit and focused, so sure he'll turn out to be a positive signing
Gaz_Oafc
Had a quick look on the ballmouth forum and there was a post on there along the lines of they brought him in as a goal scorer and it turned out he was more of a link striker between the midfield... worked his socks off but didn't do the job they brought him in to do... even though he scored 4 goals in a relatively short loan period... Top signing for us, should be ideal partner for big chris
al_bro
Going to be very interesting to see how Dickov handles Barnard and Iwelumo...and what happens when Smith is fit to play again. Great signing, though! Barnard, Iwelumo and Baxter on the same team should be scary for the opposition. Has PD seen the light and abandoned his one up front, or does he play Baxter in the hole and have three/four forwards on the bench?
