NewBlue
The snow is so bad that the match must be cancelled. It is probably a very good thing for us considering we don't have a manager and need to regroup from the Dickov sacking. I really can't see us getting a result tomorrow with there being literally only a couple of coaches remaining and the awful streak of losses we've had. This gives us some time to regroup, get a new manager in and learn about the players in time for MK Dons at the weekend. The only worry is the vouchers for the Everton game. I'm assuming they will be reallocated at the MK Dons match.

oafcshuck
Started raining just after the snow had started to stick, cant see it being much of a problem with a little rain.
BP1960
The snow is more like sleet and should be gone by kick off time. The Yeovil team have already arrived in Oldham so no travelling problems for them. Edited February 5, 2013 by BP1960

opinions4u
Inch in Royton. Raining on top. Above freezing. Game should be on. Only issue will be a decision being made too early to assist with Yeovil's travel arrangements.

Schlieb
It's going to rain from 12 onwards should be fine ( a bit of snow and everyone panics). Probably more wishful thinking than panic. Yeovil in great form, were managerless, and it's gonna be bloody freezing!
Alec1954
9.00am and heavy snow 1 mile form the ground.. M60 closed, trams reduced service, buses reduced service. Do you think Yeovil fans will travel.. I think not. Do Latics want this match? I think not.

Yard Dog
Still not in work yet. My journey from Royton to midd has taken 1hr 20 so far. Seems to more due to a lot of bad accidents on the motorways causing the whole network to jam up. Totally gridlocked maaaaan.
Dave_Og
Man up. If it wasn't for 24 hour news channels everyone needing to fill time when nothing's happened would look out of the windoe and say Oh look it;s February and it's snowed a bit

Break The Silence
If it was in doubt there would be a pitch inspection announced by now? It's just gone on the official website that the pitch is fine and, providing they can shift the snow off it, it should be alright. Volunteers required to assist etc etc... Wardie
Just been ticket office and there's an inspection at 1pm The forecast is for more snow until about 3:00pm and then rain, getting milder, and actually warmer at 8:00pm than it is now...but still brass monkeys, obviously. Hands on
Want people to clear snow from pitch - time they bought a machine. Most of it is likely to melt IF the forecast is right. I'm also in the camp that says it would be better if the game is postponed. Edited February 5, 2013 by Hands on

Break The Silence
I'm also in the camp that says it would be better if the game is postponed. I'm most definately not. I've had to book 5 hours off work tonight to finish early enough to get to BP. Will be gutted if it's off. Actually fancy us to put in a decent performance if it goes ahead, despite the odds being stacked against us.
