Dave_Og
Says give it to Philliskirk in The Times. Is there any indication that TP has any interest in the job this time round?

Twisbrogan
He's not interested As I've pointed out elsewhere, he also said that if Corney asked him, then he'd have to think about it. If it came down to it and deals couldn't be made elsewhere, then he may well be asked to step in for the remaining games until someone else came in during the summer when he can go back to what he enjoys most. the_mighty_bosh
As long as we at least keep TP until we lose in the league, there's no reason to immediately change things if they are working.
laticdickovarmy
On a side note Barnard is a class act!
PlayItLivo
Barnard always has been quality at this level. Always bagged for fun. Was xcuffed to bits when he signed, he's the quality goalscorer we've needed for a long time
gavinodriscoll
Hope we can get him back next season ready for our promotion push outta this league

laticdickovarmy
Granted we havent seen tons of him yet but Derbyshire or Barnard? Edited February 11, 2013 by laticdickovarmy

PlayItLivo
Without seeing either this season, Lee Barnard. He's just a goalscorer and in this division a very effective one, like Luke Beckett, Lee Trundle, Rickie Lambert, Nathan Tyson, Neil Harris, Bradley Wright Phillips, Billy Sharp, Jermaine Beckford, Billy Paynter, Nicky Forster, Freddy Eastwood. You know the ilk of player who'll score a bucket load at this level regardless of whether they can step up a level or not.

philliggi
TPis down to 20/1 for it on sky. someone obviously liked the look of his performance on sat
BP1960
He has security as youth team boss, not so with the managers job, also would he be comfortable buying and selling players and dealing with awkward agents?
disjointed
Granted we havent seen tons of him yet but Derbyshire or Barnard? Barnard. He can do the messy stuff (I know how it sounds). 2nd half on Saturday he really mixed it up with McCleod when he tried to rough Boozy. Like that in a player. You mess with my team you mess with me
bossrocks
Derbyshire or Barnard? Derbyshire I think may be the better footballer but (based on his one performance I've seen) Barnard looks like he might be more effective for us. 2 in 2 is great, keep it up Lee! I think that was about being involved with the first team? I didn't necessarily take it to mean manager
