Slash
How many Latics fans don't get that TP doesn't want to be the manager?
philliggi
its not about getting the fact he doesnt want to be manager, its about living in dream landthat we carry on winning and he may actually be swayed into the post, addicted like a drug. am i right in saying dickov never won 3 in a row in 3 years, yet philliskirk can do it in his first 3 games? We've won two and drawn one with TP in charge.. But Dickov won 3 games in a row last season, Crewe in JPT, Burton in Fa & Chesterfield in league
byrnes boots
Not in the league though

But Dickov won 3 games in a row last season, Crewe in JPT, Burton in Fa & Chesterfield in league The big difference is that PD lost the games before and after the 'Lord Mayor's Show', when it looked as though the players couldn't be arsed. Under TP they've won the equivalent games, with the players performing as though they understood the importance of each game. Tomorrow we'll see if they're playing for a place on Tuesday or saving themselves for the big game, as they did under PD.
philliggi
yeah i actually meant league games, not games in general
brierleys555
tp knows the squad and the youth so probably until end of season he should remain at the helm with gerrard and co helping him. He might change his mind about the job but probably wont. at elast it gives corney time to pick new manager instead of rush job. and us as fans now know our youth coach can help out with first team if needed. finally corney should reward tp with longer contract
philliggi
let mikey priest run the youth set up and give tp an overseeing role, there for the new gaffer to bend his ear regarding tactics and matchday stuff, and also there for mikey priest
