SavageTheBeast
Please TP if on Tuesday we are winning don't give us a John Thompson moment and bring on a player in the dying seconds. I couldn't handle that amount of stress again.
philliggi
i would love that to happen, cos it will mean we are winning in the final few seconds.
Diego_Sideburns
Please don't forget to tell Baxter not to attempt a cheeky chip over the keeper in the penalty shoot-out.
Break The Silence
Please don't forget to tell Baxter not to attempt a cheeky chip over the keeper in the penalty shoot-out. This. Penalties, like Manchester United supporters, are there to be hit as hard as physically possible .
disjointed
Please don't forget to tell Baxter not to attempt a cheeky chip over the keeper in the penalty shoot-out. I quite like the dink, hope it continues, what a way to knock the toffees out of the cup.

That is exactly why he shouldn't Parenka it, because Howard ought to have scouted it so could well have an easy save if Jose tries it. This, although I haven't got a clue what "Parenka" means ha ha. If Jose goes for a little dink Tim Howard, who has no doubt seen him do it a 100 times before in training, will probably chest it down, do half a dozen keepy uppy's, and then volley it high into the night sky. opinions4u
Panenka: http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=Tp2HZNheCZ8&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DTp2HZNheCZ8 From memory, it's the first international game to be decided on pens, and that was the decisive one. disjointed
But if Howard thinks he is gonna dink, he then thinks Jose knows hes gonna dink, so Jose wont dink if Howard thinks he is gonna dink, Howard then dives full length and Jose dinks, double bluff, result. leeslover
Up into the corner scores 100% of times, if the player trusts and holds his nerve that should always be the way.
Diego_Sideburns
If the keeper stands up in the centre of the goal, he'll save more than by committing to dive one way or the other.

lancy lad
Please don't forget to tell Baxter not to attempt a cheeky chip over the keeper in the penalty shoot-out. My brother keeps telling me he had a dream that we beat them 5-4 on pens. They miss just one and Baxter steps up to take the glory....................................really hope so. I doubt it though, reality tells me we are due a hammering in the cup, even though we have done absolutely fantastic and won the football public over. It's been a long time since I have been as proud of Latics!
