timbo100
I don't know if this has been discussed before but it may have a bearing on our staying up / going down! Mr. Baxter mustn't get booked on Tuesday or Saturday if he wishes to avoid a 2 game ban. http://www.thefa.com...nce/suspensions Go to one caution away: league 1. roytoner
Yes, defo a concern. Simpson in the same boat, although a 2 game enforced rest might do him good! Can't see Jose getting through the next 2 games unscathed.
Break The Silence
Might explain why he appeared to :censored: out of a couple of tackles on Saturday, perhaps we were doing his a disservice if he's been told by LJ not to get booked under any circumstances. We'd certainly be in even deeper :censored: than we already are if he gets suspended for 2 matches.
philliggi
its all just a bad dream, we will wake up shortly and all be back at wembley just after sharp puts that unmissable shot into the bottom corner (ya know, the one we al dreamed he missed)

al_bro
If we lost him for 2 games it wouldn't be the end of the world, we could play a straight 4 4 2. He is a good player but he isn't an out and out striker nor an out and out midfielder. One up front doesn't work with the players we have. 3 4 1 2 would work with him, but that leaves us vulnerable down the flanks.

mcgoo_84
Harsh booking gets him a two match ban. Harsh?? Are you kidding? Lucky he didn't get sent off! Studs up, straight down the lads thigh! The one thing that may have saved him is the fact that the lad slipped in front of him.

It was more of a lazy challenge but that summed up some of Baxters passing at times
Frankly Mr Shankly
Harsh?? Are you kidding? Lucky he didn't get sent off! Studs up, straight down the lads thigh! The one thing that may have saved him is the fact that the lad slipped in front of him. The really annoying thing about it was it was deep in their half, no threat and no need to make such a challenge when you're poised on a two match ban which would massively cripple the side in the long term. Thick as pig:censored: and deserves his ban for that. Moron.
losesome
Ban may work in our favour because LJ will now have to change something. Same old same old tonight , just like PD reign . Played well enough first half and could have maybe gone in ahead at HT. Second half they make a tactical change on their left to stop croftie , we can't cope and huff and puff for the second 45 minutes with no plan B. Don't think their goalie had a shot to save second half , against a team fighting to avoid the drop !!! Going down without a fight at the moment.
