ZiggaZaggaAthletic
Oh dear! I live in hope we never have to click onto our site and see an article like this! Bye bye bury it sounds.... http://www.buryfc.co.uk/news/article/bury-fc-statement-764293.aspx
NewBlue
I read that with the noise in the background being one of those charity adverts on telly with deep piano music. It was very apt. I've been pretty shocked by their home gates this season. They've been below 1500 for a few games, their only saving grace for the short-term is 1000+ Latics fans going there on Saturday. We have to beat them. Edit: If they go out of business before the end of the season does that mean 1 more club get relegated? opinions4u
Can we donate them some players for next season please.
Fervid
Looks like they are on their arse, if we can't beat them on Sat we don't deserve to stay up.
bluehobbit
Jeez!!! There website still looks better than ours tho Wonder what they are planning "We are looking for a number of people, local businessmen or women to join a consortium and invest £100,000 each, with a guaranteed payback." Guaranted payback when??? how?? bad news for em...
SavageTheBeast
Do you all remember when we last played them when they where close to going under
Lukers1
Yep, we took over 4500 that night and we let em keep the % gate receipt. That was the night David Reeves got hit in the eye whilst tying his bootlace and Colusso scored the leveller in the last minute.
rudemedic
Gary and Phil Neville and my euro-millions winning neighbour, that should be £300k
Lukers1
Looks like they are on their arse, if we can't beat them on Sat we don't deserve to stay up. It could work out as a plus for them, bigger home crowd due to the plea, siege mentallity and local derby.
jsslatic
Guaranteed payback my foot!
tangerinedreams
It could work out as a plus for them, bigger home crowd due to the plea, siege mentallity and local derby. Just what I was thinking.
Ritchierich
I fu*#ing hate the premier league and greedy footballers who have destroyed the future of smaller clubs. Tens of millions of pounds gifted to each of the big clubs and nothing to the smaller clubs which are part of the great football heritage in this country
Lee Sinnott
Balls to them. Rather them than us...
gavinodriscoll
Edit: If they go out of business before the end of the season does that mean 1 more club get relegated? If they go bust before there final game of the season, all there results will be taken out nd the league would finish with one less relegation place
oafcprozac
They'll fulfil their fixtures, they've 18 days to go...
tangerinedreams
If they go bust before there final game of the season, all there results will be taken out nd the league would finish with one less relegation place Bit of a kick in the nuts for L2 promo then. JoeLatics
Bit of a kick in the nuts for L2 promo then. A team from L2 would still come up to fill their place, and presumably an extra promotion place in BSP? Edit - or thinking about it, the same number would go up but one less would go down :P Edited April 10, 2013 by JoeLatics
laticdickovarmy
Can we pinch schumacer ready for next season if he is still the player he was please Feel for them but not enough not to pinch an undeserved 94min winner Saturday Edited April 10, 2013 by laticdickovarmy

laticdickovarmy
I did think the same myself but then if you are willing to give them 100,000 you have to be willing to lose it and have a load of money anyway

24hoursfromtulsehill
For "join a consortium and invest £100,000 each, with a guaranteed payback", I read: "piss £100,000 away just like that. Easier than burning it."
opinions4u
It's an interesting investment prospectus. If I handed over £100k for that, I'd retain that web page so that I could sue somebody for their house later on!
real
I don't think that a print out of a webpage would be much use if there were no assets. If bury still own the gigg land site then I'd bet the investments will be secured against that.
