pukka
I'm not one for feeling sorry for teams or fans generally as to be honest relegation / problems are part and parcel of the game, however... County are currently 2 points from safety in the Blue square premier with 2 games to go. They play gateshead away tonight. Gateshead are two points clear of them. Lose tonight and it's curtains. Win tonight and they give themselves a fighting chance, but they play title chasing Kidderminster away on saturday. A bloke at work is a big county fan, goes to the vast majority of games and has the day off today to go tonight. Some of the stories about performances and boardroom issues make us look like Bayern Munich. Some fans beleieve that they won't survive if they go down again, to drop to the 6th tier for a club of that size would be a real shame. They don't own their ground and wont be able to pay the rent on it if they drop. They are a similar club to ourselves in many ways and a stark reminder of what can happen. When some of our fans think dropping down a level could be a good idea - it wouldn't be.
opinions4u
They don't own their ground and wont be able to pay the rent on it if they drop. The rent bill is about £140k a year. They get crowds in excess of 3,000. I'm very sympathetic to County. You get a great atmosphere at Edgeley Park. But they have one of the highest incomes in the Conference. Some of the silly contracts they offered when they went down to the Conference expire at the end of the season. If they can't cut their cloth and be competitive in Division Six there really is no hope for anybody in non-league. The club won't fold on relegation. They're a bit sensitive after the death threats to board members and chairman. We get Simon Corney. They get Baron Snape of Wednesbury. opinions4u
Win away at Kidderminster (who win the title if they win and Mansfield don't) and if Tamworth draw or Gateshead lose County survive. Big ask.

disjointed
Losing 1-0 at Kidderminster. Hundreds locked out after arriving late. Pitch invasion when Kidderminster scored. Play suspended. Sad news but football will always be ruined by a minority, the real fan just gets dragged into it all, guilt by association.

opinions4u
Do the boundaries get re divided up every year? Bishops Stortford in the "north" is mental Yes. Depends who comes in to / leaves the pot from promotions and relegations. For example, Droylsden and Chester won't be part of next season in division six. Forte_Baby
Do the boundaries get re divided up every year? Bishops Stortford in the "north" is mental Remember Kettering being in the North my mates who support Worcester say its common for midland teams but be switched. Southern sides like Oxford and Bishops think have contributions towards there travel costs as they had to switch leagues. Actually looking at the sides relegated from the Conference and the top teams from the Unibond & Southern Prem plus potential play off winners i would not be suprised if Bishops and Oxford City end up back in the Conference South. Forte_Baby
According to someone from the Non League paper Aldershot got five weeks unless they just take the points of them. Think Altrincham stayed up 3 times because of other clubs misfortunes going into administration or ground issues.

opinions4u
http://www.thenonleaguefootballpaper.com/conference-premier-step-two/5619/adminstration-for-returning-aldershot-town/ Looks like no reprieve from reading that. Talking to a mate he doesn't really want the reprieve anyway. County have gone part-time and he doesn't think unwinding that during the Summer would give them time to be Conference competitive.
