oafc1000
On a brave decision on appointing L.J. The man seems to talk and sense and more than that backs it up with actions. I know it's only been a short time with Lee at the helm but he has already staved off relegation and in good style. Lee has the players playing for each other and more importantly the club, and playing to win. The work rate has increased, the passion is there for all to see and the results are coming. People are quick to bash Simon on here but without him we wouldn't have a club and i am sure every decision he makes he makes with the clubs best interests at heart. Things are looking up for the future all ready and i for one can't wait for next season.
philliggi
I am the first to doubt corney and the motives behind some of his decisions, but you have to say well done on appointing LJ, when it was clear it wouldnt immediately be a welcome one
JonesyOAFC
It'll be interesting to see what he can do with a summer's preparation behind him. My main worry when he was appointed was that he wouldn't have enough time to get acquainted with the managerial role, but he seems to have settled in pretty much straight away, which is encouraging. I normally dislike the constant chopping and changing of players every summer at this club, but for once I think we really need a clear out and for LJ to bring his own players in and build his own squad. Exciting times ahead, hopefully.

Diego_Sideburns
BBC Radio Manc tonight acknowledged doubts about LJ's appointment, but applauded SC's judgement. Well done Simon - onwards and upwards, and please don't let the morons' actions leading to Club fines deter you from your plans.

oafc-latics
we'll see a different style next season and i'm looking forward to it. Johnson has done well to get us safe, but now he can bring in his own players and train them with no pressure.
