Oh go-on...go-on, go-on, go-on...GO-ON.

Big Joe was against BTB I seem to remember? Was it banned from being sold in the ground and club shop?

It was Alan Hardy who was against it. Big Joe had a rant in the programme about it but to be honest it was misinformed nonsense. Anybody who read BTB would never have accused us of being "anti-player and anti-club". He (Royle) went on to write that we were probably Blackburn Rovers fans in disguise "determined to undermine the success at the club".

We just printed 'The Voice of Blackburn Rovers Fans' on the cover and 'It's anti-club and anti-player and it's still only 60p'. We didn't get any more comments.

Hardy probably didn't like BTB cause he wasn't making any money from it...

To entertain, inform and, hopefully provoke discussion. It is above all a vehicle for YOU to express YOUR opinions and ideas about the club, on whatever subject—provided, of course, that your comments are not racist, sexist or injurious. . . . BTB will offer constructive criticism of officials, players and the club in general, especially when criticism is merited, and especially when it has come to our attention via the people who really count—THE FANS. (Pete Mason, “The Latics Report,” Issue 4, 1989)
