ZiggaZaggaAthletic
Browsing through all the rumours, Jose Baxter is being linked with every club going at the moment and all with various values. How much do you value him? I think due to age, prospects etc a £1 million value, especially with him on a 2 year deal
OAFC_Ryan
800k-1.2 million
OneSizeFitz
£300K as an absolute maximum.
Latics_Fanatic
Actual Value: ~£500,000 Value (Including Contract length and thinking of futurity and what is best for the club) - £850,000 +
laticdickovarmy
Anything about 500k is good business with say 20% sell on clause so we can have all the threads like we get on Richards
shefflatic
£1m fee + £500k after x appearances + 25% sell on - about time we got a proper - and I mean 'proper' fee for a genuine talent When i read stories of Will Hughes, 18, at Derby playing about 30 games and as talented as he is, 'Newcastle are ready to pay £10m for his services' - and then I read some of our lot happy with £400-800k, it makes me weep. £400-800k in relaity gets us nowhere. With £1m (and in talent and potential wise vs the fees that players like Powell, Maynard etc have gone for after 1 season wonders, he is worth it) we can use £800k to help with running costs etc and £100k or so to add 2 or 3 quality players rather than simply see it be swallowed up altogether. Fervid
At least one million plus add ons. Wouldn't sell him especially if we want to kick on this year.
ghostofcecere
Probably 250-350K, but i'd rather hang on to him than sell. If anyone is willing to pay 500K then we shoul seriously consider it
pk200
200k max.

The fact is, though, that all of those players mentioned are considerably better than Baxter. Anything close to £1m is a pipe-dream. Latics_Fanatic
200k max. I'd rather :censored: in my hands and clap then see Baxter go for that. Colbeck cost us £60k - if Baxter is only worth £140k more than that, football is well and truly :censored:ed. Yes but colbeck was only worth 6k...if we sell jose you will have dirty smelly hands ...lol
slystallone
He's a good player but he's not worth a million; no way. He's worth whatever someone is prepared to pay - and i'd imagine that would be £250-£300K at a max.
Zorrro
He's worth whatever someone is prepared to pay I hate that phrase.
Latics_Fanatic
Yes but colbeck was only worth 6k...if we sell jose you will have dirty smelly hands ...lol Okay so we payed 10x what you say Colbeck was worth. So, minimum value i've seen is 200k for Baxter - £2million do it for everyone then?

24hoursfromtulsehill
It's a buyer's market sadly, so we won't get what he's worth. We meaning hard-up, cash-hungry Corney. I'd be delighted if we got £500,000.
GlossopLatic
How much would he be worth in a years time? I think we play him in his proper position as the 2nd striker building a team around him with midfielders and wingers who are prepared to go beyond him and run onto his through balls he could easily end next season with 20 goals and 15 assists. That will guarantee us a big fee for him next summer.
RobOAFC
Around £500k now A year from now he could be worth £1m+ if he has a good season
De_La_Vega
Realistically we are winning whatever cash we get given that Baxter cost us nothing, so 300k is no disaster if that's the way it boils down. If we are going to keep him then I want to see us play in a manner that gets him on the ball.
Lee Sinnott
Around £500k now A year from now he could be worth £1m+ if he has a good season Or he could be worth 5k if he suffers an injury, balloons to 15 stone and turns to drugs again.... Also, where has this myth come from that we always get bummed when selling players? Spencer, Philliskirk, Eaves and Trotman immediately come to mind as examples of us doing well out of transfer deals....
