singe Posted June 11, 2013 Share Posted June 11, 2013 I am sure I recall this rumour surfacing exactly at the time the Vaughan info started, ie people adding what they knew (the difficulty in paying players) and Vaughan sniffing around being revealed. If it was to be a case of needing to paying the players out of the liverpool money, surely he would just hold off rather than get involved with a shark like Vaughan? The loan needed may have been more than the Liverpool money was worth. Even if the win bonus was that big, surely they more than paid for out of the League games it wasn't paid up...!!!!!
