oafc1955
We now have Shmeltz, Dayton, Harris and Montano who on their day are all capable of getting the fans on the edge of seats however I would like a little experience amongst the next few signings. Matt Taylor as rumoured would be a great signing alongside M'voto (if he stays) with Belezika and Tarkowski that would be the CB's sorted. I think we still need a CM who can dictate the game, at least one or (if Baxter leaves) two experienced strikers, a RB who can play anywhere across the back four and of course at least one competent keeper. If we manage to get the right mix we could finally have a season to remember, however, goals are the name of the game and if we have to spend a large percentage of our remaining budget on a proven striker then it will have been money well spent. bluehobbit
to me we seem to have signed a lot of creative players who might be ok on 1 game in 5 i think we could be a little lightweight time will tell
jsslatic
I'd like to see a couple of big clobberers in central midfield who won't let us get overrun, at least one of which with experience. Get the ball, nothing necessarily fancy, get it to the pace on the wings or Baxter.
longtimeblue
Loads of time yet but we need some experience without a doubt. I know it doesn't, but, if the season started tomorrow, I'd be very worried. Come July we'll be at least playoff material.

Another player alongside Wes in the mould of a Johnathon Douglas would be ideal IMO.
pukka
If Byrne isn;t playing the majority of games (or is leaving) it lacks a captain. A genuine leader. A dux type.

I'd like to see us sign another CM as with Wes's injury problems a C. midfield list of Wes, Mellor, Winchester and Gossett is a bit thin on the ground. Ideally a good value first choice player to play with Wes and ahead of Mellor.
24hoursfromtulsehill
I want a six-and-a-half foot striker. No experience necessary. Diminished sense of self-preservation desirable.

Boys in Blue
Think you're spot on oafc1955. Definitely need some experience in the spine of the team but I'm sure they're the sort of players with a few offers so we might have to wait a bit longer to get someone like that. Fingers crossed... Tommy_Fent
I think we need a fox in the box type striker, someone who is able to get into the right positions
PlayItLivo
. Another player alongside Wes in the mould of a Johnathon Douglas would be ideal IMO. I was crying out for us to sign him when he was released by Swindon.

Taylor signed for Bradford on a two-year contract. They've been making a couple of astute signings this summer. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23548360
iamjonesyyoafc
Not desperately lacking in experience, the starting 11 I have thought about have 1258 club caps between them. Not to mention an added 250 with Charlie Mac on the bench!
